Lafferty and Tonn place at MSHSL Class A State Speech tournament

A total of six students from the River Valley speech team participated in the MSHSL Class A State Speech tournament held virtually on Saturday, April 24th. This year’s participants included senior Libby Tonn in informative speaking, senior Kendall Kelly in poetry, sophomore KayLynn Sanderville in extemporaneous reading, sophomore Sarah Kottke in drama, freshman Kiera Lafferty in prose and eighth grader Russell Beers in humorous.
