Molly Dunn presented Arts Award of Excellence

Wells Fargo, the premier corporate sponsor of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL), announced that Molly Dunn of the River Valley Speech Team, Springfield,  received the Wells Fargo Spotlight on the Arts Award of Excellence at the 2015 Class A state high school speech tournament. 

The award program is part of the Spotlight on the Arts campaign, a program established by Wells Fargo and the MSHSL to increase awareness for high school fine arts activities.  Schools are chosen for the award if they receive a “star” rating from the independent festival judges. 

Wells Fargo’s sponsorship helps offset the costs associated with tournaments and fine arts events for Minnesota students. It also supports programs such as the MSHSL High School Hall of Fame, along with the Challenge Cup, a program which selects the best Minnesota schools in Class A and Class AA for athletic and fine arts competitions.

Molly was champion in her category of storytellling at the 2015 Minnesota State High School League Class A speech tournament  at Lakeville on April 17.  It was Molly’s fifth state appearance.  Molly, daughter of Paul and Kellie Dunn, is a senior at Springfield High School.
