School facilities plan laid out!

 A financial projection regarding the school facilities project being proposed to the residents of the Springfield School District concluded a series of meetings of the Facility Task Force and Board of Education, and two Information and Listening Sessions for the public Monday evening. 

The presentations were made by Matt Hammer, a municipal advisor with Ehlers, Inc. Education Finance Team.  Ehlers offers financial and management consulting services for public sector clients. The company’s services include debt planning and issuance, school finance, strategic and financial planning, economic development and redevelopment, and special financial studies. He has worked directly with Minnesota school districts since 2005, most recently serving as the Director of Finance and Operations for Fridley Schools. He has specialized expertise in finance leadership, financial planning and operations management.
