SHS musicians attend Dorian Vocal Festival

 Ten Springfield High School vocalists and their director, Mr. Bailey Cords, attended the 73^rd Annual Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa January 8-9.  One of the leading vocal festivals in the nation, it brings together junior and senior high school vocalists from across the Midwest to experience making good, quality college-level music together.  The participants rehearsed with Luther music faculty—Dr. Andrew Last, Dr. Mark Potvin and Dr. Adrianna Tam—and participated in sectionals with singers from hundreds of schools around the Midwest.
