Springfield High School Knowledge Bowl

Springfield High School’s Knowledge Bowl is growing in popularity and activity with over 20 members. Mrs. Ashley Cook serves as Head Coach, with Mr. Bailey Cords and Mr. Brandon Andrews as meet coaches.  

“I am proud of all of the kids that we have this year because most of them are doing Knowledge Bowl for the first time! Only seven of our twenty-two members are returning from last year, so it is exciting to see the program grow,” said Cook adding, “The questions used at meets are often tough. I am proud that the students still had fun when faced with challenging questions.” 

The 2024 Knowledge Bowl members include Jada Reese, Jalyn Louwagie, Kiera Lafferty, Olivia Milbrath, Olivia Mayeaux, Rylee Nelson, Abby Ruhr, Kameron Bigelow, Malissa Jager, Preston Anderson, Matt Groebner, Grant Kuehn, Blaise Louwagie, Lucas Hensch, Brady Anderson, Kade Nachreiner, Landon Nordlee, Tako Lucio, Aiden Moriarty, Brayden Sturm, Bryan Buerkle and Lucas Milbrath. 

All regular season meets are on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. This past Monday, February 5 they traveled to Worthington. Upcoming  meets include February 12, 2024 – Fulda and February 26, 2024 - Redwood

Sub-Regions - Friday, March 1 at 9:00 a.m. in Worthington with Regions on Wednesday, March 6 at 9:00 a.m. in Marshall.
