There’s still time to sign up for Tiger Pride Golf Scramble
The Springfield Education Foundation invites participation in its second annual Tiger Pride Golf Scramble Friday, July 17, at the Springfield Golf Course.
The Springfield Education Foundation is a newly formed 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to support the mission of Springfield Public Schools and the students, families and communities it serves. This foundation appreciates the sponsorship and support provided by local businesses and community members.
The Tiger Pride Golf Scramble will be an 8” cup, best ball, four-person scramble. It is a fund-raising tournament that will start with an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. Tee boxes and the clubhouse will include meet and greet with coaches and directors, recognition of hole sponsors, and memorabilia of our school’s athletic, fine arts, and academic programs. Tournament proceeds are dedicated to benefit our school district’s activities department.
There’s still time to register for the tournament. To register a team of four golfers or individually, call the Springfield Golf Course at 507-723-5888, or stop in and sign up in person. Those who would like to play and register individually will be placed on a team. Cost of registration is $50 per person and includes golf, evening meal, and gift pack. The first 25 teams registered are guaranteed entry. A silent auction will also be held.
