BLHS Mustangs defeat Tiger Volleyball in season opener

The Springfield Tiger varsity volleyball team was defeated by Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart 3-0 in their season opener at Hector last Thursday evening. BLHS swept the Tigers 25-6, 25-19, 25-22 in the Tomahawk Conference match.
The Tigers have a very busy schedule this week. On Sept. 8 they travel to Westbrook-Walnut Grove; on Sept. 10 they host New Ulm Cathedral; on Sept. 12 they are participating in the WWG Tourney; on Sept. 14 they travel to Fulda; and on Sept. 15 they are at home facing GFW.
