Dylan Nachreiner heads to state CC meet

The Springfield-Cedar Mountain-Comfrey Cross Country Team traveled to Madison to compete in the Section 3A Cross Country Meet at the Madison Golf Course on October 29. Twenty-two teams competed in the section event. Luverne was first for the girls followed by LQPV in second place. LQPV was first for the boys followed by Redwood Valley in second place.
In girls team action, Miranda Groebner finished in 21st place with a time of 21:12. Sydney Hauger took 24th at 21:19 followed by Ashley Larson in 52nd place at 22:45. Lauren Zeug took 113th at 25:03 followed by Heather Lemcke in 119th place at 25:22. Irene Anderson took 139th at 28:24 followed by Kylee Wells in 143rd place at 36:05. The girls finished in 12th place out of the 22 teams at the meet.
In boys team action, Dylan Nachreiner finished in 7th place with at time of 17:12. Andrew Nachreiner took 19th at 17:59 followed by Mitchell Buerkle in 29th place at 18:33. Elijah Kirschstein took 32nd at 18:44 followed by Logan Kelly in 77th place at 19:57. Anthony Roiger took 83rd at 20:08 followed by Lance Zeug in 93rd place at 20:38. The boys finished in 6th place out of the 22 teams at the meet. Dylan Nachreiner earned a trip to the State Cross Country Meet at Northfield on November 7.
