Headed to State Wrestling Tourney again!

The Redwood-River Valley Badger wrestling team had a strong showing at the Section 3AA Individual Wrestling Tournament at Worthington Saturday. Eight of the 14 Badger wrestlers finished in the top six at their weight and Sam Baier (160) and Brady Goblirsch (170) won their weight class and earned a trip to the state tournament.  The win for Baier was also the 150^th of his career, which is headlined by three state berths for Redwood / River Valley and the River Valley program before it. It will be Baier’s third trip to the state, and Goblirsch’s second trip to state. For more information and pictures turn to Sports on Page 14 in this newspaper.
