River Valley Tennis wins first games of the season

The River Valley Wildcats earned their first win of the season as they took on Luverne on Monday, August 28, winning 4-3. 

“It was a hot one in Luverne today but a great match! We were trailing 2-3 in the match as both our 1st Singles, Taylor Berkner, and 4th Singles, Kiera Lafferty, entered into their 3rd sets. Both Taylor and Brissa had impressive sets and ended up getting us the two points needed to secure our first team victory of the season! Candela Pliego-Hernandez had an impressive win in her varsity debut at 3rd Singles and Brissa Hernandez handled business at the 2nd singles spot. Overall, a great team win,” stated Head Coach Brandon Andrews.
