Rummel, Bertram and Johnson wrestle in state tournament

The Springfield wrestling team capped off a great first season with three wrestlers competing at the Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament this past weekend in St. Paul.  Mason Rummel advanced to the medal round, earning the first “Tiger” state medal.  Owen Bertram advanced to the final eight, but lost a close match to finish one win away from a state medal.  Kadin Johnson had a very difficult draw, losing both of his two matches to the eventual third and fourth place finishers.
