RV tracksters attend MSHSL State Track Meet

The River Valley Wildcats competed in the MSHSL State Track and Field Meet at St. Michael-Albertville High School June 10-12. 

In girls action, Marley Hewitt ran the 400 meter at 59.32, taking 8^th place.  The girls 4x800 meter relay team of Emmie McCone, Lydia Dauer, Marissa Pabst and Katie Thram finished in 18^th place at 10:08.40.

In boys action, Matthew Groebner ran the 1600 meter in 4:37.37, taking 13^th place.  The 4x400 meter relay team of Gianluka Fernandez, Lucas Hensch, Noah Christensen and Matthew Groebner finished in 8^th place at 3:31.27.  The 4x800 meter relay team of Gianluka Fernandez, Matthew Fernandez, Noah Christensen and Matthew Groebner finished in 11^th place at 8:27.70.
