Student athletes give assist to Mother Nature

Springfield High School students participating in baseball grabbed shovels instead of bats last week to remove snow from the grandstand and off the athletic field in Riverside Park.  Snowy, slushy and mushy athletic fields have postponed many games, and condensing the season.  Tomahawk Conference athletic directors met on April 18 to reschedule as many events as possible.
