Tiger Girls and Tiger Boys will Holiday Basketball Tourney

The Springfield Tiger varsity boys basketball team participated in the St. James Holiday Basketball Tournament December 29-30 in St. James.  The Tigers played two great games, defeating Belle Plaine 77-62 and Rockford 74-57.  Congratulations to Isaac Fink and Tanner Vogel for being named to the All-Tournament Team.

The boys have three games on their schedule this week.  On Monday, January 4 they travel to Wabasso, Tuesday, January 5 they travel to Windom Area and Friday, January 8 they will host the Sleepy Eye Indians.  Best of luck to Head Coach Lance Larson and the Tigers in action this week!

The Springfield Tiger varsity girls basketball team participated in the annual Holiday Basketball Tournament at St. James December 29-30.  They won both games, defeating Madelia 63-17 and Maple River 60-55.

The Tiger girls have three games on their schedule over the next week.  They host the Wabasso Rabbits on January 5 and travel to Sleepy Eye on January 8 and to Redwood Valley on January 11.  Best of luck to Head Coach Brandon Wilhelmi and the Tigers in action this week!
