Tiger wrestlers at 8-7 on the season

The Springfield wrestling team had two matches on their schedule last week.  The Tigers were 2-1 at Windom last Tuesday, January 7—Springfield 45-LeSueur/Henderson 24; Springfield 67-Madelia/Truman 12; and Springfield 36-Windom/Mountain Lake 45.  The Tigers were 1-2 at BOLD on Friday, Janaury 10—Springfield 22-United 60; Springfield 44-Sauk Center/Melrose 36; and Springfield 32-BOLD 45.

Owen Bertram recorded his 50^th career pin at the Windom meet and his 100^th career win at the BOLD meet.  Kody Bast (113#) and Mitchell Streich (220#) each got their first varsity pins the past week.
