Tigers claim Section 2A baseball championship
Springfield High School Tigers baseball team claimed the Section 2A Championship trophy with a 4-0 win over Minnesota Valley Lutheran Thursday, June 9, at Franklin Rogers Park in Mankato. That ended MVL’s season and advances the Tigers to the Minnesota State High School League Class A Tournament. The Tigers will play Lewiston-Altura at 3 o’clock Thursday, June 16, at Chaska.
