Tony Amundson wins the 60th golf invitational
Tony Amundson won the Invitational golf tournament at the Springfield Golf Club this past weekend. Fifty-four golfers were looking for the championship of the 60th annual event. Amundson shot rounds of 71-75 for 146 to take the championship. Maverick Winkelmann took second place with rounds of 78-73 and Noah Schmitz took third with rounds of 76-77. Congratulations to Tony, Maverick and Noah on a well-played tournament.
Other flight champions were: Senior Champs—Dave Fox; Carlson Flight—Jim Sherman; First Flight—Matt Tews; Second Flight—Ramsey Beyer; and Third Flight—Calvin Buddensiek. Congratulations to all the 2022 flight winners.
The Tournament Committee—Paul Pieschel, Paul Arnoldi and Ramsey Beyer— would like to thank all the golfers in attendance and invite the players to the 61st annual event in 2023! They would also like to thank the many volunteers who helped on the course and in the clubhouse to make the 2022 tournament a great success.
