Wildcat tennis swings into season

The River Valley Wildcat Tennis Team took to the tennis courts to begin practice for the 2023 season August 14. The Springfield Girls team is co-oped with Sleepy Eye Public and Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s for the tennis program again this season.  Returning to the  Head Coach position is Springfield’s Brandon Andrews. Assistant coach is Rosemary Molenaar. 

The Wildcats will play their first match as an away game against Pipestone on Monday, August 21, followed by an away game against St. James on Tuesday, August 22 and will host Marshall in Sleepy Eye on Thursday, August 24. 

S-CM runners are looking forward to season 

The Springfield-Cedar Mountain Cross Country Teams began practice Monday, August 14.  Head Coach Luke Amsden and Assistant Coach Brittany Portner have been working with the team in anticipation of their first meet at Springfield Golf Course on August 25.
