This past weekend Springfield’s youth wrestlers competed in the Northland Youth Wrestling Association (NYWA) state tournament held at the Rochester Civic Center.
The K-6 team competed in the NYWA Class B team state tournament and placed 6th.
Individually the athletes also did great with Cole Paplow and Aiden Krebs each earning first place wins, Jack Rothmeier and Blake Zihlke with second place wins. Camden Guhlke earned a fourth place win and Nevaeh Hansen took sixth.
