Franklin is new Lamberton pastor

Pastor Mike Franklin, former pastor at Springfield Assembly of God Church, is now serving the Lamberton United Church of Christ. He led his first service Sunday, July 6.
Franklin was raised in Montana. Over his forty-nine years in ministry, he has served churches in Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Minnesota. In 2016, he became the pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Springfield. With his wife’s illness and passing, he felt the need to retire, but was recently called to return to the ministry.
When Pastor Dave Birch retired from the Lamberton Church of Christ at the end of June, the congregation invited Pastor Franklin to serve them. He continues to live in Springfield and commutes down Highway 14 weekly.
