St. Raphael Catholic School has new principal

      Jennifer Cassidy is the new principal of St. Raphael Catholic School in Springfield.  She began her duties August 10, so it was a fast transition before the school year actually began August 24.  The position is part-time.  “I am so grateful and blessed to have amazing teachers and staff who are stepping in to help make sure we start strong,” she said in a recent interview.

     Cassidy has been in Catholic School Administration for over twenty-five years.  She has served as a PreK-8 Principal at St. Jude Catholic School in Mahtomedi and at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.  She was also President of St. Bernard’s Catholic School in St. Paul ( PreK-12 Catholic School).  She is excited to be serving St. Raphael’s, to continue the incredible tradition of Catholic education for the parish and the school families.
