Lorraine M. Harkin, 87, Sleepy Eye and formerly of Clements, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at Divine Providence Community Nursing Home in Sleepy Eye.
Mass of Christian Burial was conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church n Sleepy Eye.
Lorraine and her husband, Dixon Harkin raised six children, and farmed north of Clements for many years. In their retirement years on the farm they were well known for their locally grown asparagus. In 2007 they moved to Ross Park Apartments in Sleepy Eye. Dixon died in 2016.
