Speakers honing their skills for MSHSL competition

Speech season is coming to an end, and River Valley Speakers will participate in their season’s last invitational at the Southwest Minnesota State University tournament in Marshall Saturday, March 24. The speakers  are training diligently for Subsection competition with their goal to send a good group of speakers to Section and, hopefully, State Competition.   The Minnesota State High School League organizes only three divisions of competitive speech tournaments; all other invitationals and tournaments are organized by schools and teams themselves that provide the students with speaking experience.  This picture of River Valley Speakers was taken at the JWP (Janesville – Waldorf – Pemberton) Bulldog Tournament on March 17.
