Robert (Bob) Rader

Robert  (Bob) Rader, 87, Alexandria, died Thursday,  March 7, 2019. A  retired educator, he was an instructor/cadre sergeant while serving in the U.S. Army, then taught and coached at schools in Battle Lake and Alexandra.   In the late 1960s, he started the first law-related education course in Minnesota at the high school level, and as a result of this course he started writing law curriculum, and started Law Instructor Publications, an educational publishing company n Alexandria. 

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vonnie; three children David (Martha) Rader of Minnetonka, Ann (John) Miesen of Lake George, and Janice (Steve) Renberg of North Oaks; five grandchildren and two sisters.

His funeral was held in Alexandria, and entombment in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.
