Funeral services for Wayne Fredin, 70, of Farwell and formerly of Windom, were held Tuesday, April 2, in the United Methodist Church, Alexandria. Mr. Fredin died on March 28, 2019.
Wayne Eugene Fredin was born March 10, 1949, to Merlin and Ann Fredin in Comfrey, grew up on a farm and graduated from Windom High School in 1967. He married Kathy Hislop in 1969 and they raised three children. Wayne farmed until 1995 when he took a job with NAPA.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Brad (Amy) Fredin and Meredith (Bruce) Runge, and siblings, Curt (Linda), Jeff (Betty), Scott (Lisa) and a brother in-law, Denny.
