Joe Dietl, publisher-editor/owner of the Lamberton News since May 1, 1969, passed away April 10 in New Ulm at the age of 83. A private family service was held on Tuesday, April 21 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lamberton. A procession taking Joe past the Lamberton News office one last time, to the private graveside service, was held following the service at the church. Joe and his wife, Dorothy, moved to New Ulm in 2017.
