Grace Love-Pierson
On Saturday July 10, 2021 Grace Love-Pierson, a loving wife and friend passed away at the age of 26 at Doctors Hospital in Modesto, CA. A service will be held at a later date.
Grace Carmen Love was born on January 27, 1995 in Carmichael, CA. She was adopted soon after birth to John and Alberta Love of Hickman, CA. She graduated from Whitmore Charter High School with a 4.0 GPA.
Grace met the love of her life, Ryker Pierson. On September 4, 2019 they were married in Modesto, CA. Grace and Ryker made their first home in Modesto, CA. The couple soon moved to Waterford, CA.
Despite physical challenges and ever-present pain from a rare neuromuscular disease, Grace Love pushed herself to lead as normal a life as possible. She loved life and was a champion for the disabled. Grace served as a Make A Wish ambassador for Stanislaus County CA and been a spokesperson at their annual gala. She participated in various fundraisers, volunteerism and was honored for “Every Student Succeeding”.
Grace will be remembered for her outgoing, firecracker personality, her wild hair and multiple tattoos.
She loved to travel and was able to visit Give Kids the World and Disney World in Florida. She enjoyed going to Disney Land and the ocean. Grace was known for her loyal friendship and humor. She fiercely loved her family, friends and pets.
Grace will be forever in the hearts of husband Ryker Pierson; father John Love of Waterford: grandparents John & Alberta Krier of Tracy, CA; Aunts and Uncles: Victoria Grove and her husband Tony of Denver, CO, Wendy Krier of Springfield, MN; Nic Krier and his wife Elizabeth of Susanville, CA; Carl Love & Nance O’Day West Sacramento, CA; Ernie & Judy Love, Bakersfield, CA; Nina Church, Clovis, CA; Shirley & Ron Richards, Salix, PA. Cousins: Spencer, Bailey and Allison Krier, Susanville, CA; Terri del Tour, Bakersfield, CA; Robin Richards Pittsburg, PA; George Love, Bakersfield, CA; Ron Richards Jr., New Jersey; and numerous close friends she considered family.
She was preceded in death by her mother Alberta Love, mother in-law Lori Pierson; Grandparents Lenore Krier, Ethel and Bus Love.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Grace’s name to her favorite charitable causes: Make a Wish (wish.org), or Give Kids the World in Kissimmee, FL (gktw.org).
