Beatrice Coulson

Beatrice Viola Coulson age 99, of Springfield, MN died on January 10, 2022, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. 

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Comfrey Chapel. 

Service will be held at the Sturm Funeral Home in Comfrey on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. 

Per family request, face masks are strongly recommended during the visitation and service. 

The clergy will be Chaplain Noel Wetter.

Beatrice Viola Coulson was born on August 17, 1922 to Albert and Gladys (Jeske) Christenson on the family farm in rural Brown County. Bea graduated from Jeffers Public School and attended a year of business college. On August 3, 1946, she was united in marriage to Adrian "Pat" Coulson at the First United Church of Christ in Comfrey. Bea worked at John Deere for 25 years as their bookkeeper and secretary. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ where she was part of the women's fellowship and the American Legion Auxiliary. Bea enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, and crosswords.

She is survived by daughters-Andrea (Russ) Eigen of Annandale and Mary (Bill) Augustin of Buffalo; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Adrian "Pat" Coulson, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Patricia Christenson, brother and sister-in-law Orville and Marylou Christenson.
