Cargill employees visited Springfield Public School recently to announce an ongoing partnership with a donation to the Springfield FFA.
Brian Vogt, Cargill Ag Marketing Services personal marketing manager of Wayzata, and Scott Johnson of Springfield, Cargill AgHorizons farm marketer, also known as grain buyer, presented the FFA with a check for $7,500 for the school’s educational greenhouse project.
The money will be used to purchase grow tables, hydroponic tables and an irrigation system for the greenhouse, said T.J. Brown, Industrial Technology / Agriculture Education instructor and FFA advisor.
