Arnold C. Hillmann

Arnold “Arnie” C. Hillmann, age 92, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, in Burnsville, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Irene Hillmann; his wife, Karen (Clarice and Scotty Steer); and his grandson, Rodney Wilson Jr. 

Survived by children Kelly (Tracy) Porter, Holly (Lee) Brandt, Scott (Kelly Richards) Hillmann, Michael Hillmann, and Mark (Joanna) Hillmann; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. He is also survived by his ‘angel’ Bernita Kallas, who gave him great joy and care in his later years. 

Arnie spent most of his career working in and owning logistics and distribution companies, and ventured into several other entrepreneurial opportunities including manufacturing, banking, leasing, and communications. He was a longtime SCORE mentor/counselor, and an HOA advisor at his prior home in Edina. At Arnie’s request, his family will hold a private interment ceremony at Fort Snelling at a future date. 

 Memorials are preferred to the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation.
