New Promotional Efforts Showcase Springfield to Visitors and Future Residents
Over the past several months, the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has been working on several initiatives designed to showcase the community and encourage visitors to experience everything Springfield has to offer.
One of the largest projects recently completed is Discover Springfield, a full-color visitor and travel guide produced by the Springfield Advance-Press with financial support from the CVB. The guide was created to serve as an introduction to the community for visitors, prospective residents, and anyone interested in learning more about Springfield.
The publication highlights local attractions, recreation opportunities, businesses, events, community organizations, and many of the unique qualities that make Springfield a special place to live, work, and visit.
In addition to the visitor guide, the CVB has also partnered with Flying Buttress to create a series of promotional videos highlighting various aspects of Springfield. These videos are designed to provide an engaging look at the community and will help reach audiences through websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
Together, the guide and video projects represent an ongoing effort to tell Springfield’s story and provide resources that can be shared with visitors, businesses, families considering relocation, and those looking to learn more about the community.
The Springfield Advance-Press handled the writing, photography, design, and production of Discover Springfield, with support and collaboration from the CVB, local businesses, community organizations, and numerous individuals who contributed information, ideas, and encouragement throughout the process.
Printed copies of the guide are being distributed through Explore Minnesota Welcome Centers, local offices, community locations, and other tourism outlets. A digital version is also available online, allowing anyone to explore Springfield from wherever they may be.
