Jeffrey Shaner

Jeffrey Wayne Shaner, 70, of Sanborn, Minnesota passed away June 26, 2026 at Woodstone Senior Living in New Ulm.  Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield and one hour prior to the funeral service July 1.  The memorial service will be held Wednesday July 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Storden.

Jeff was born May 29, 1956 in Heron Lake to Sirwell (Hans) and Corinne Shaner.  He was a graduate of Storden-Jeffers High School and Worthington Community College.  He married Mary Posz on June 15, 1985.  He taught physical education and health and was a coach at Sanborn, Sanborn-Lamberton and Red Rock Central High Schools.
