Ardis ‘Lorraine’ Schulte

A celebration of Life for Ardis “Lorraine” Schulte, 93, of Comfrey, was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Comfrey.

Mrs. Schulte died on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield. 

She was born Jan. 20, 1925, to Dick R. and Helen (Jenkins) Walters at Mountain Lake. She married Florian J. Schulte on Feb. 15, 1947 in Comfrey. The coupled lived in the Darfur, Wells and Comfrey areas, settling in Comfrey in 1966. She was very involved in her church and community, and gave many years of service to the St. John Lutheran Home Auxiliary. 

She is survived by daughters, Kathleen (Bruce) MacMaster of St. James, Nancy St. Sauver of Granite Falls, Patricia Schulte of Springfield, and Jan (Rory) Kopischke of Comfrey; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
