Cynthia “Cindy” Susan Schnobrich, age 73, of Springfield, MN, died on October 17, 2026, at Sleepy Eye Medical Center.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, MN and will continue on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Springfield. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Johns Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will be at the Springfield City Cemetery. Cynthia Susan Schnobrich was born on January 13, 1953, to Howard and Patricia (Kreitinger) Klinepeter in New Ulm, MN. After her schooling, she worked at Sanborn Manufacturing for 16 years and then was a day care provider for over 30 years. Cindy was united in marriage to Frank Schnobrich on May 28, 1983, at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Springfield, MN. She enjoyed reading, writing letters, fishing, and driving around town. Cindy looked forward to their weekly trips to the Legion, spending time with family as well as traveling with them. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and the Legion Auxiliary where she served as president.

She is survived by her husband Frank “Jr.” of Springfield; daughters Jenny (Tony) Nath of Willmar and Brigette (Doug) Brown of Springfield; daughter-in-law Becky Schnobrich of Mackinaw, IL; grandchildren - Paisley and Brayden Nath, Amaira and Cadalie Brown, Alicia Quarnstrom; step-grandson Kyle Caho; great-grandchildren Nabella and Nalayah Nelson and her brother Terry Klinepeter. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Partricia Ginther and son Jeff Schnobrich.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Springfield American Legion and the Springfield Ladies Auxiliary.
