Elton Davidson

Elton N. Davidson, age 71, of Ortley, South Dakota, passed away July 4, 2025 at the North Dakota Veteran’s Home in Lisbon, North Dakota.  He was born October 28, 1953 to Lester and Phyllis (Monserud) Davidson in Webster, South Dakota.  He graduated from Waubay High School in 1971 and joined the U.S. Navy, serving primarily in the Pacific.  He worked for the South Dakota Department of Game Fish and Parks and served as the Mayor of Ortley for a number of years.

Memorial Service will be Monday, July 21 at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, South Dakota.  Elton was a brother of Jan Davidson of Springfield.
