Etta Mae Friton (Knadel), 88, died June 4, 2019, at Episcopal Care Center in St. Paul. She was cremated and a private graveside burial will take place at a future date.
Etta was born in Springfield and graduated from Springfield High School. She married Hjalmer Friton in 1951, divorced in 1965. Etta is survived by her two daughters, Carrie (Rick) Haack of Shoreview and Shawn (Rick) Wipf of Angora; six grandchildren; eight great-gradchildren; and one brother, Willliam (Donna) Knadel of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Inez (Welch) Knadel; and brother, Richard Knadel.
