Joseph Jacoby, 82, died on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Bethany on the Lake in Alexandria.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 7 p.m. Friday, August 16, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria. A Private Family Graveside Service with full military honors was held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Joseph Jacoby was born to Anthony and Rosella Jacoby in Springfield, Minn., on Sept. 24, 1936. He attended school in Springfield. He married Mary Ann Zitzmann on August 8, 1956, they raised five children, and farmed near Villard. Joe also worked for various machinery dealers and did auctioneer work.
Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria handled arrangements.
