Joyce Marion Zamzow, 89, of Sleepy Eye died May 15, 2017, at Sleepy Eye Medical Center. Funeral service was held May 17 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sleepy Eye, and burial as in Home Cemetery.
Joyce was born Oct. 29, 1927, in Springfield to John and Mayme (Coulter) Thorston. She attended country school and Springfield High School. She married Oliver Zamzow on May 8, 1953 in Sundown Lutheran Church.
She is survived by husband, Oliver “Jim” Zamzow of Sleepy Eye; daughters, Leann, Jeanette and Lois Zamzow, all of Sleepy Eye; and brother, Leonard Thorston of St. Paul.
