LeRoy (Lee) Lyman Watson, 79, of Keokuk, Iowa, died on Jan. 9, 2017, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Mass of Christian Burial was held at All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, with burial in the Keokuk’s Oakland Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 5, 1937, grew up in Keokuk, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa, served in the U.S. Army Reserve, and worked 35 years as a stockbroker and retired from Stifel Nicolaus & Co., Inc. in 2000.
LeRoy was married to Mary Ellen Ryan of Springfield on Nov. 27, 1971. She survives with their five children, and eight grandchildren. He was a brother-in-law to John Ryan and Kay Halter of Springfield.
