Louise Sater

Louise P. Sater, 82, of Eagan passed away due to cancer, surrounded by her family, on July 24, 2017. Survived by loving husband of 54 years, Jack; daughters Lori (Phil) Anderson and Kari (Max) de Lavenne; and grandchildren, Stephanie and Zack Anderson and Tristan and Eden de Lavenne. 

Born in Minneapolis to Swedish immigrants, Erik and Betty Person, and raised in Minneapolis near Minnehaha Park, Louise graduated from Minnehaha Academy, then from Macalester College with a degree in education. She taught second-grade in Bloomington and St. Paul for nine years. She left teaching to become a full-time homemaker, but later in life she was a classroom volunteer. She enjoyed baking, cross-stitching and traveling. She also enjoyed spending time at their lake home.  She was fluent in Swedish and looked forward to hosting her Swedish relatives this fall. She will be dearly missed but lives on in our hearts and memories.
