MarcJon Evan Brakke

 MarcJon Evan “MJ” Brakke, age 9, of North Mankato and formerly of Mitchell, South Dakota passed away November 27, 2023 at Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Funeral service was held December 1 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato.  Burial will be at a later date at the Sundown Lutheran Cemetery, rural Springfield.

MarcJon, the son of Sabreena and Eric Michel, was born June 7, 2014 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  He attended North Elementary School in St. Peter.  He is survived by his parents; siblings Bishop, Hudson and Winslow; grandparents Jon and Kristine Schmitz and Steve and Barbara Michel; great grandparents Gene and Beverly Thorston and Glenn and Fran Schmitz; and host of extended family and friends.
