Marrion Adeline Webskowski was born October 26, 1931, in Thief River Falls, to Allie and Betsy (Troland) Webskowski. She attended school in Thief River Falls until moving to Sleepy Eye where she graduated from Sleepy Eye High School. Following her graduation, Marrion worked as a bank teller in Sleepy Eye until her marriage to Raymond Bielen on September 20, 1952, in Port Townsend, Washington, where Ray was stationed while serving with the U.S. Army. The couple later made their permanent home in Springfield, building their home where they welcomed daughter Linda and son Brian. Marrion was well known in the Springfield community for her sewing skills. She held several other jobs throughout the years but sewing was her passion. Marrion’s life revolved around her family and she would always drop whatever she was doing to enjoy a cup of coffee or spend the day shopping with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her three “crazy” sisters. Marrion was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Raphael Catholic Church. She also enjoyed her years with the Springfield Garden Club.
She is survived by daughter, Linda and husband Jay Imker of Lamberton; son, Brian Bielen and wife Gail of Redwood Falls; grandchildren, Kristopher Imker and wife Megan of Lamberton, and Kelsi and Kirsten Bielen of Sioux Falls, S,D,; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Halle Imker of Vesta, and Austin, Chase and Charlotte Imker of Lamberton; sisters, Clarice Honsey of Mesa, Arizona, Annabelle Christiansen of Sleepy Eye, and Beverly (Snooky) Guza of Sleepy Eye; sister-in-law, Avona Bielen of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond, in 2012; and grandson, Benjamin Imker.
