Oliver K. Schmid

Schmid, Oliver K., 97 of Bloomington, passed away on July 30, 2016.  Oliver was born on October 19, 1918, in Springfield, Minnesota. Oliver was a US Navy WWII veteran and a retired employee of Control Data. Preceded in death by parents, John and Pauline; wife, Lois; brothers, Richard, Gilbert and John; and sisters, Lorraine Altermatt, Zerelda Shultz and Carolyn Gramentz. Survived by nieces, Pauline Altermatt, Dorothy (Tom) Maloney, Marsha (Myron) Scholtz, Marilyn Ringham, Martha (Wendell) Fredin, Mariann (Stan) Schotzko, Margaret Bartelme, and Mary (Pierre) Combal; nephews, Mike Schmid, Mark (Debbie) Schmid, and Carl (Karen) Gramentz; and special friend, Dottie Dunker. Mass of Christian Burial Friday August 5th 11 am at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church 901 E. 90th St. Bloomington. Visitation one hour prior to mass at church.
