Ruth Mathews

Ruth Estella Mathews, 96, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away October 4, 2026 at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe.  She was born July 7, 1930 to Karl and Jenny (Hennessey) Hamblin in Harrisonville, MS.  On June 1, 1952 she married Erwin Mathews in Glencoe.  The couple farmed in the Glencoe area.  They were blessed with four children, including Beverly (Michael) Krueger of Springfield and grandchildren, including Jackie (Danny) Streich, Casey (Shayne) Rice, Kelsey (Nick) Vogel and Lauren (Tom) Vogel of Springfield.  Funeral service was held October 12, 2026 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe.
