Shirley A. Staupe, 78, of Faribault died on April 9, 2019, at Pathways at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield following an extended illness. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, April 15, in the Church of St. Patrick in Shieldsville, Faribault. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sleepy Eye.
Shirley Ann Weicherding was born May 22, 1940, in Sleepy Eye to Victor and Veronia (Steffl) Weicherding. She married Leonard Staupe May 12, 1962. They lived in Sleepy Eye, later in Sanborn, then Faribault, and eventually in Morristown.
She is survived by her husband, Len; sons, Lee (Stacy), Lonnie (Carrie) and Scott (Lisa); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
