SHS Choir concert has new venue

     There has been a lot of excitement, practicing and fine-tuning in the choir room at Springfield Public School the past couple of weeks.  The SHS Concert Choir, directed by Mr. Bailey Cords, was invited to be a guest choir and perform at the Minnesota Music Educator’s Association (MMEA) Midwinter Convention in Minneapolis Friday, February 13.

     However, last Monday, January 26, Mr. Cords and the school received word that due to what has been going on in Minneapolis-St. Paul the past few weeks, a decision was made to cancel the MMEA Convention this year.
