Springfield Baseball to Honor Hall of Famer Dale “Lumber” Lindmeier at Friday Night’s Game

The Springfield Baseball Association will honor one of the community’s most dedicated baseball supporters Friday, July 17, during the Springfield Tigers Town Ball game against the Sleepy Eye Indians at Riverside Park.

The recognition will celebrate Dale “Lumber” Lindmeier, Springfield’s newest member of the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and community members are encouraged to attend as Springfield recognizes Lindmeier for his decades of contributions to amateur baseball.

Lindmeier was inducted as a member of the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame’s 2025 class, an honor reserved for individuals who have made outstanding contributions to amateur baseball through their achievements on the field and their continued dedication to the game and their communities.
