Tiger wrestlers host first home meet

On Tuesday, January 13 Springfield hosted their first home meet of the season (their earlier scheduled home meet was cancelled due to weather) taking on Sioux Falls Roosevelt, Pipestone and Beresford/A-H.
Springfield won over SF Roosevelt and dropped duals to Pipestone and Beresford/A-H.
Head Coach Luke Amsden stated, “Our guys wrestled very tough overall on Tuesday in our home duals. We’re continuing to see nice progress with our wrestlers. We’re excited for our 9th grade league wrestlers to compete in the Region 2 tournament in Canby on Saturday January 24, for a chance at a trip to the state tournament.”
